    It is with great sadness we share that last week w It is with great sadness we share that last week we lost a Wakehurst Little Athletics Life Member with the passing of Keith Cambridge. Keith gave much of his time over his many years assisting the Centre on Saturdays as Chief Timekeeper (back when everything was hand timed!). His daughter recalls that each year, their house resembled a factory at presentation time, with all the Wakehurst representative trophies being constructed in their garage. Keith also coached long jump for Wakehurst for many years. His great service was recognised when he was made a Wakehurst life member, and his love for athletics has continued through his granddaughters who have both proudly worn yellow and black at the track each Saturday. We offer our condolences to Keith’s family and thank him for making little athletics such a rewarding experience for so many kids and their families over the years. RIP Keith
